Twelve Nails of Christmas: Day 11 GIVEAWAY!!! (Not open internationally... SORRY)

WOOT So I said I would have a giveaway because I got my first follower on Day 3 of my Christmas nails! HERE IT IS!!! I bought myself the Illamasqua Christmas Duo and I LOVE them, so I hope you will too!!!

So I didnt really do a Christmas mani... If you've been reading my blog you'll know that I am totally over this project. But I did paint both colors so that you all would know what you were getting!

Those are shots of Viridian a gorgeous shimmery blue green (or a viridian for those of you who know your colors). It applies super smooth in potentially one coat, but I did two. Very smooth, very nice formula, very unique color!

Glitterati is a beautiful deep and vampy red/burgundy. I love how this looks, much thicker than a jelly, this is two thin coats and the glitter can still peek through!

Together these feel like Christmas, but I love them separate like this! Glitterati would be perfect on Valentine's Day, and I am gonna wear the shit out of Viridian through the winter! Great new additions to my collection, and hopefully yours!

Giveaway is below, wish you luck!

  3. Awesome!! For one of my many holiday manis, I painted my nails Ruby Pumps by China Glaze except for my ring fingers, which I painted Sally Hansen Celeb City, made a tree with Sally Girl Green, and decorated the tree with OPI Bling Dynasty for the "star" and China Glaze Ray-Diant for the tree ornaments! :)

    1. Yeah, my Christmas Day (Day 12) completely fell apart too, all the little studs came out and the polish chipped big time (well... more like my nails chipped big time... now two are broken EEK!)

  7. I went very simple and wore NARS Starflight. I just got engaged(2 weeks before Christmas) and he gave me the polish with my ring because it matches it perfectly! =0)

  14. How do you get the polish so close but not quite touching your cuticles?! I can never get it perfect like that

    ReplyDelete

    1. Perfect?!? Thank you! You should totally see my right hand (not very nice). When I lay the brush down for the first stroke I go for the center and try to get as close as possible then just use that for a guide. If I mess up really bad I will use a brush with acetone to get the rest off... or my favorite trick is to keep an orange stick in the shower and just before I get out I scrub my cuticles with it!

  20. I did alternating red and green nails with the Sephora 18k gold topcoat. My middle fingers had the Zoya Gilty 18k flaky topcoat, and then my ring fingers were a white base with an abstract dotted Christmas tree :) I work in retail and all my customers kept freaking out at how festive they were haha
